January 24, 2008 – Randall Gross / Development Economics (RGDE) President and managing consultant for the Five Points Business and Marketing Plan, Randall Gross, updates the Advisory Board on progress. Randy is currently in town conducting a separate economic impact study, but has begun preparations for the update to his 2002 Housing and Retail Market Study which included the Five Points area. He spent time discussing the Advisory Board’s particular needs with respect to the study. As a result of this discussion, Staff Leigh Anne Friesen will provide Mr. Gross with necessary maps and additional data related to the study. When he returns to town, he plans to conduct various reconnaissance interviews and group presentations with Five Points stakeholders with the help of City Planning Staff.
