Become a Partner

Calling all Stakeholders in the Five Points area! Any and all persons interested in the Five Points area are invited to join the revitalization effort via membership in the Five Points Revitalization Advisory Board. The membership consists of anyone who has registered as an active member of the Advisory Board with the City's Advisory Board Staff. An active registered member of the Advisory Board is a person who has completed a Board orientation and has a greater than 50% meeting attendance rate for the prior 12 month period. Five Points Business and Marketing Plan initiated

Randall Gross of Randall Gross Development Economics (RGDE) has begun an update of his 2002 Report: "Market Analyses & Strategic Recommendations for the New Bern Urban Design Plan 2000". The update will focus just on the Five Points area and make recommendations regarding housing and retail market opportunities.

The Five Points Advisory Board with the help of Eastern Carolina Council of Governments (ECCOG) has produced a promotional brochure for the Five Points area.
